German auto seat cover company Grammer Pierluigi Ghione new Serbian factory will employ 520 workers

Serbia’s Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic and Chief Executive Officer of the German company Grammer Pierluigi Ghione signed in Aleksinac Serbia, an agreement on opening a new factory in this town.

After the signing of the agreement and talks with representatives of the local self-government in Aleksinac, Dinkic announced that 520 workers will be employed in the new factory by the end of the year.

The new factory will be opened on the site of the current factory Stirokos, which Grammer will purchase and reconstruct by the end of the year, the Minister pointed out and added that the Serbian government will give Grammer €7,000 per each new employee.

Grammer specialises in making seat covers for cars of brands Audi, BMW, Fiat and around ten more car manufacturers around the world.

Grammer already has one factory in Aleksinac which employs 740 permanent staff.
