
The German Development Bank KfW has granted a EUR 100 million loan to Serbia, intended for projects in the fields of agriculture, energy, renewable energy sources and municipal infrastructure, it was said at a press conference.
The loans will be granted with a seven-year period and a grace period of two years at most and the interest rate cannot exceed the lowest interest rate charged by the bank on loans from other sources and for the same purposes. The National Bank of Serbia’s governor, Jorgovanka Tabaković, said that the ultimate goal of the loan was the opening of new jobs and the development of competition within the Serbian economy.
