The Government of Serbia has declared a public interest in expropriating land and facilities for the construction of a railway line connecting Zemun Polje and the National Stadium in Surčin. The decision was published in the Official Gazette.
This move is part of the General Urban Plan for Belgrade’s rail systems. The first phase includes the construction of a railway from Zemun Polje to the Sava River, covering properties in the cadastral municipalities of Surčin and Dobanovci.
The project also involves the construction of stations, overpasses, drainage systems, and various utility infrastructures, including gas, electricity, heating, oil, water, and communication lines, as well as transmission towers and power lines.
