Higher production of electricity in Rebublika Srpska Energy System

Government of Republika Srpska adopted on Thursday revised power balance for this year, according to which, the planned production of electricity was 5586 GWh, which is 3.59 percent more than the balance of the planned amount.

Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining, Zeljko Kovacevic told the reporters that the planned production of electricity in thermal power plants is 3310 GWh, and hydro 2225 GWh.

Kovacevic said that, according to the adopted revised as a result of the production plan, and planned a larger surplus of electricity 1520 GWh, or 17.52 percent more than in the balance.

He added that the planned revision to the planned coal production this year is 4.29 million tons in relation to income was higher by 4.52 percent.
