How much money can IT professionals earn in Serbia?

The mission of the Hello World site is the transparency of the domestic IT market, said Marko Vucetic, from the most visited site for hiring IT candidates. The site has more than 1,400 job advertisements in the IT sector and more than 3,500 comments about employers. IT experts are also discovering how much they can earn in Serbia.
Marko Vucetic, from the most visited site for hiring IT candidates in Serbia – Hello World, said in the RTS morning program that flexible working hours, opportunities for advancement and training, good interpersonal relations, as well as feedback are good for employers in the IT sector.
According to him, the interest in the IT industry is growing, and 1,400 advertisers are just some of the reasons to view the site, which has up to 200,000 visits per month.
IT Insider is a platform where all interested parties can get information about employers in the IT industry and read work experiences and job interview experiences.
“IT Insider is the first project of this type to be launched on the domestic market. It is divided into two parts where employees evaluate work in companies, and the second where they evaluate work interview experiences,” said Vucetic, adding that as many as 60 percent of positive comments on their site.
He explained that IT companies are modern companies that follow trends.
Due to raising the transparency of the domestic IT industry, last year the “Salaries” section was added to IT Insider, where employees can write the net amount of earnings anonymously.
“According to the registration of 1,200 salaries, we have data that the average salary of a senior programmer is 1,750 euros, a mediator 1,150 euros, and juniors start with a salary of 750 euros,” said Vucetic.
He emphasized that the highest salary according to the registration on their website is 7,500 euros, which is earned by a software engineer and is located in Belgrade.
Vucetic said that Hello World is also read by employers and that it is very important for them to know what employees think about them and in that way try to solve their internal problems, and there are also those employers who respond with a request to cancel the comments.
“The mission of Hello World is the transparency of the domestic IT market. I think it is counterproductive to delete comments, both for candidates and for employers,” Vucetic stressed, RTS reports.
