Hybrid and electric vehicles for which a subsidy can be obtained in Serbia

New hybrid and electric vehicles can be bought for less than 20,000 euros since the Serbian government decided in mid-March to subsidize their purchase from 250 to 5,000 euros.
The Ministry of Ecology set aside one million euros this year for subsidies for ecological vehicles, but so far only six subsidies have been used, because there were no such cars on the market or they were too expensive. However, the domestic factory “Fiat Chrysler Automobiles” Kragujevac received favorable prices for the import of electric and hybrid vehicles, and this week it presented the first – “fica hybrid”.
– I think that’s a good incentive. Those who decide to buy a fully electric vehicle will receive a subsidy of 5,000 euros, and for a ‘hybrid’ 3,500 euros – they say from “Fiat Chrysler Automobiles”.
New hybrid and electric vehicles can be bought for less than 20,000 euros since the Serbian government decided in mid-March to subsidize their purchase with 250 to 5,000 euros.
Namely, the Government adopted the Decree on the conditions and manner of conducting subsidized purchase of electric and hybrid vehicles, on the basis of which the state helps purchase mopeds and light tricycles on this drive with 250 euros, hybrid cars with 2,500 euros, plug-in hybrids with 3,500 euros, and electric vehicles are 5,000 euros. It is one of the government’s measures to protect the air from pollution, which makes so-called ecological vehicles much more affordable on the market.
For example, the price of some hybrid passenger and electric delivery cars is now falling below 20,000 euros. For example, with a state subsidy of 2,500 euros, the hybrid “Toyota Yaris” costs 17,750 euros, since its full price is 20,250 euros. Also, the price of new electric delivery vehicles is now almost a quarter lower, since, say, the most favorable “Renault Kango” with VAT costs 25,500 euros, but when that 20% tax is deducted and a subsidy of 5,000 euros is included, it can be bought for 15,100 euros, Kamatica reports.
