In Serbia, the monthly inflation in July was 0.2 percent

In Serbia, in July this year, the monthly inflation was 0.2 percent, and the annual inflation was 3.3 percent, the Republic Statistical Office (SORS) announced.
Compared to December 2020, the prices of personal consumption products and services, which measure inflation, increased by an average of 3.7 percent in July.
Observed by the main groups of products and services classified according to the purpose of consumption, in July, compared to the previous month, price growth was recorded in the groups alcoholic beverages and tobacco (2.2 percent), recreation and culture (2.1 percent), transport ( 1.6 percent), restaurants and hotels (0.6 percent), furniture and current maintenance of the apartment (0.3 percent) and in the groups apartment, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, as well as health, 1 percent.
The fall in prices was recorded in the groups food and non-alcoholic beverages (0.9 percent) and clothing and footwear (0.7 percent).
The prices of other products and services have not changed significantly, the SBS stated, N1 reports.
