In the ten years of the current government, the consumer basket has risen in price by 25 percent.

According to the latest report of the Ministry of Trade on the purchasing power of the population, the average consumer basket for November 2021 amounted to 79,865.34 dinars, and the minimum for the same month was 41,238.43 dinars.

In November 2012, the average consumer basket was 63,907.89, and the minimum was 33,631.33.

The average consumer basket for the month of January 2021 was 74,470.15, and the minimum was 38,141.32.

According to the data of the Republic Bureau of Statistics, the average consumer basket for January 2011 amounted to 53,174.07 dinars. The minimum consumer basket for January of the same year amounted to 28,200.99 dinars, H1 reports.
