The Initiative for the Survival of Serbian Farmers (IZOPS) announced plans for protests starting next week, following a meeting of its assembly on September 10 in Kisač. The exact dates and locations will be determined after consultations with other agricultural associations.

IZOPS demands include tax-free diesel at fuel stations, a free market, and subsidized loans for farmers at 1% interest. They also request direct government support of €300 per hectare for crops affected by drought and frost, the settlement of all outstanding payments to farmers, and a detailed plan for future disbursements.

Protests are expected to involve tractors in front of government institutions rather than road blockades. Novi Sad is confirmed as a protest location, with other cities to be decided. IZOPS has also expressed support for ongoing student protests and has refrained from negotiations with the Ministry of Agriculture since they began.
