By the end of the year, factories of the Italian company Ariston and the German company Boge will open in Niš, announced Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, adding that he will soon open another factory in western Serbia, reports eKapija.

“It is very important that we have not stopped attracting investors, even though the investment level has dropped—46 percent lower compared to last year,” he said.

Construction of Ariston’s factory in Niš began last summer. It was announced that the factory will produce household electrical appliances and employ 300 workers by the end of 2027. The factory, the first in the industrial zone “Sever” in Niš, will involve an investment of 75 million euros.

Ariston produces heating systems and boilers and previously built a small factory in Svilajnac in 2019. The completion of the 30,000 m² factory in Niš is planned for December 2025.

Regarding Boge, construction of their facility started this spring in the Sever 2 industrial zone, located between Čamurlija Road and the highway.
