According to data from the National Employment Service (NSZ), employers expressed a need for 15,744 workers in January, with the highest demand for programmers, for whom 1,635 job ads were posted.
Next in demand were manual laborers in civil engineering, with 1,063 ads, followed by carpenters – 651, masons – 625, reinforcement workers – 621, and cleaners – 620 job openings.
Drivers were also sought, with 392 job openings advertised for them.
On the other end of the list, occupations with minimal demand included doctors, with just two job ads posted, as well as physics teachers, teachers of subject-specific education in elementary schools, philologists, and driving instructors, all of which had only two openings each.
One job ad was posted for about a dozen other professions, including graphic designers, pastry chefs, industrial engineers, wholesale managers, human resource development specialists and mechanical assemblers.
