Kragujevac Airport, managed by the company MIND Aviation, will start operating a seasonal border crossing this year, running from April 1 to October 31, daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, the airport will serve exclusively business and general aviation flights, not commercial passenger flights.

MIND Aviation clarified that the airport is designed for general aviation planes with piston and turboprop engines weighing up to 5,700 kg. Flights operate based on client requests and comply with all regulations, targeting primarily business clientele.

Located about 13 kilometers from Kragujevac city center, the airport features a 900-meter grass runway suitable for aircraft up to 5,700 kg, hangars, and a flight school facility. Plans are underway to build a 1,400-meter asphalt runway to accommodate larger business and cargo planes.

MIND Aviation also aims to promote aviation in general and will host the “AeroMIND” air show on June 14, showcasing civil aircraft and military helicopters.

The airport is fully owned by businessman Bratislav Milanović through MIND Aviation, part of the MIND Group and MIND Park, which includes Siemens and German industrial manufacturers. The airport investment, initiated in 2022, was fully funded by MIND Aviation without direct financial support from the state, although local authorities assisted in obtaining permits for the seasonal border crossing.
