The immovable property of the bankrupt Leskovac wool industry Leteks was sold for 200 million dinars to a consortium consisting of Stefaneli International and Home Center Vera, the Agency for Licensing of Bankruptcy Trustees announced.

The initial auction price was set at 56.2 million dinars, after a previous failed tender where the starting price was 80.3 million dinars. The sale included eight buildings within the “Crvena zvezda” complex.

Over the past 13 years since bankruptcy proceedings began, parts of Leteks’ property have been repeatedly sold. The bankruptcy administrator first announced the sale of part of the property in 2019, with an initial price of approximately 46.8 million dinars.

The sold buildings include an opening and finishing hall (1,742 m²), a weaving mill (3,906 m²), a warehouse, and an administration building, all located in Leskovac.

While the facilities are in poor condition and require significant investment, their prime location just five minutes from the city center makes them suitable for business or residential redevelopment.
