The Serbian exporters have a great opportunity to distribute their merchandise in the Russian market, but it depends solely on their speed and efficiency, while the state will offer the logistics support, stated Minister of Trade Rasim Ljajic. He added that many demands had come from the Russian companies, asking for fruits, vegetables, meet and meat products from Serbia. Unfortunately, we don not have sufficient capacity to meet the demand of the huge Russian market, but what we had exported so far also does not reflect our realistic capacities, Ljajic stressed. The minister has pointed there is room for the export to grow by 10-30 percent, depending on the product, which would enhance the overall foreign trade with Russia.
