Ljajić: Serbia to resolve the issue of meat exports to Russia

Supported byspot_img

Serbian and Russian government representatives have agreed in Moscow on concrete measures aimed at overcoming the problem of pork exports from Serbia to Russia, Serbian Trade Minister Rasim Ljajić said. After talks with Russian Agricultura Minister Nikolay Fyodorov and the heads of the two countries’ veterinary inspections, he said that the Russia side was completely satisfied with the explanations of the Serbian delegation. Serbia is the only country in Europe that has licence to export pork to Russia at this moment and that privilege must not be called in question just because of a single exporter who may want to derive profit higher than the regular one, he told agency Tanjug.
