American gaming technology and online betting company Golden Matrix Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: GMGI) has announced a corporate rebranding and stock structure change that will see it operate under a new name, Meridian Holdings Inc., with its shares trading on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the ticker symbol “MRDN” beginning 3 March 2026. This shift is part of a strategic repositioning that consolidates the company’s six core business divisions—including Meridianbet, Expanse Studios, RKings, Classics For A Cause, GMAG and Mexplay—into a unified operational entity, aligning with broader plans to accelerate international expansion and investor visibility.

The transformation includes a 1-for-12 reverse stock split, reducing the number of outstanding shares and helping the firm satisfy minimum bid price requirements on the Nasdaq. Following this restructuring and name change, the company aims to enhance its market profile and support its growth strategy across iGaming, sports betting, subscription and loyalty segments. Meridian Holdings Inc. traces its roots to the acquisition of the MeridianBet Group, a move that significantly expanded its global footprint and integrated one of the most recognised betting brands in Southeast Europe into its platform.
