More expensive soybeans and corn, cheaper wheat

An increase in the price of corn by 3.59 percent and soybean by 7.75 percent, and a drop in the price of wheat by 2.08 percent, marked last week’s trading at the Product Exchange in Novi Sad.

Exchange contracts for soybeans were concluded in the price range from 75 to 78 dinars per kilogram without VAT, with the calculation of quality, and the buyers were domestic processors.

The weighted price is 76.5 dinars/kg without VAT, which is an increase of 7.75 percent. Contracts for corn were concluded in the price range from 32 to 33.5 dinars per kilogram without VAT, while on the CPT corn was traded at a price of 33.7 dinars. The weighted price is 32.88 dinars per kilogram without VAT, which is 3.59 percent higher than the previous week.

Contracts for wheat were concluded in the range of 34.5 to 37 dinars per kilogram without VAT, depending on the quality parameters. Wheat recorded a price drop of 2.08 percent, and the weight for this week is 35.25 dinars per kilogram without VAT.

Stock barley was traded from 32 to 32.5 dinars per kilogram without VAT, and the price weight is 32.25 dinars, which is an increase of 4.26 percent.
