The Minister of Finance, SiniĊĦa Mali, said today that more than 50,000 companies received subsidies for the purchase of fiscal cash registers for the transition to the new system of fiscalization.
In the Assembly of Serbia, where he presented a set of economic laws to the deputies, Mali said that a 12.7 million euros had been spent for that and that more than 50 software was already available to businessmen.
He called on businessmen to apply for the money that the state gives for the transition to the new fiscalization, and it consists of 100 euros per device and 100 euros per point of sale.
The new fiscalization model implies the use of an electronic fiscal device, through which the taxpayer will issue a fiscal invoice with a QR code at the time of retail trade, including the received advance for future retail trade.
The transition period to the new system lasts from November 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022.
From October 1, taxpayers can register business premises in which they perform activities through the eTaxes portal, for which it is necessary to have a fiscal device.
Also, from October 15 to the end of January 2022, through the website of the Tax Administration, every taxpayer can apply for a subsidy from the Government of Serbia – 100 euros per point of sale and 100 euros per fiscal device, while those who are not in the VAT system -and get a 20 percent higher subsidy for cash registers, B92 reports.
