Apart from meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and still actual Minister of Economy Mladjan Dnkic, Al Mubarak shall also visit the location near Nikola Tesla Airport offered for construction of the factory.

Since February this year the Mubadala teams have been constantly present in Serbia. Two weeks ago the last in a series of delegations left Serbia and returned to Abu Dhabi. This delegation was preparing a report on possibilities for construction for the Sheikh Mohammed Al Zayed, President of the Mubadala Board of Directors and the CEO of that compnay Al Mubarak.

The main problem for the project is in qualified staff and experts. Serbia does have IT experts but not in sufficient number. It is assessed that between a thousand and two thousand experts shall be needed for the factory.

The plan is, as we learn, that immediately after eventual positive decision, a public tender is announced which would be valid for the countries of the West Balkans including our IT experts today working worldwide.

Mubadala is the world’s second company in the sphere of IT production.

If negotiations end successfully, the factory might start working in three years.

On August 1, the Etihad and the JAT are to sign an agreement that shall mean beginning of work of Air Serbia. The old company with a new name shall become a part of the Etihad system together with the Air Berlin and the Air Seychelles.
