The Entrepreneurship Sector of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce will cooperate more intensively in connecting and networking Serbian entrepreneurs with representatives of business women from the United Arab Emirates. This was confirmed by memorandum of cooperation signed at the Serbian Business Hub in Dubai by Branislava Simanic, Director of the Entrepreneurship Sector of PKS with the President of the Emirates Business Council Farid Al Awadi, Amna Khalifa Al Ali, President of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and President of the Emirate Chamber of Commerce Um Al Quwain, Yousef Kalfan Tahon, reports the PKS website.
“With these memorandum, we are opening the door to our entrepreneurs and business women to network with business women from the UAE more easily, faster and with better quality,” Simanic pointed out and announced connections with other women’s business associations in the UAE.
According to her, joint activities with UAE businesswomen are planned, aimed at education, exchange of knowledge and experiences, in order to make it easier for Serbian entrepreneurs to position themselves on the market of the Emirates.
– We will organize a series of joint events and B2B meetings of our businesswomen with businesswomen of the UAE in January, when a week of women’s entrepreneurship is planned within the World Exhibition Expo 2020 Dubai. We believe that this will significantly contribute to the improvement of mutual cooperation – Simanic added.
What our entrepreneurs can learn from entrepreneurs from Dubai and the UAE is how to be as innovative as possible, because by investing in innovation, their businesses can be more competitive on the market, and thus sustainable in the long run. Also, women entrepreneurs from the UAE can make excellent business contacts with our women entrepreneurs and place their products and services on the Serbian market, according to the PKS representative.
According to the statement, PKS recognized women’s entrepreneurship as a strong resource for new employment, which is why a few years ago, within the PKS Entrepreneurship Sector, a Section for Women’s Entrepreneurship was formed to empower women and encourage them to start their own business.
The Section for Women’s Entrepreneurship of PKS gathers a large number of women entrepreneurs, very successful business women, but also those who are still developing their businesses and they can learn a lot from their colleagues through examples of good practice and improve their business, eKapija reports.
