The Austrian company Neuroth, globally renowned for producing hearing aids, is expanding its operations to Serbia. This will be the company’s first production line established outside of Austria. Symbolically, the cornerstone for the new facility was laid, marking the 117th anniversary of the company’s founding.

Peter Jagodič, the regional director of Neuroth for Southeast Europe, expressed his pride in opening the company’s first non-Austrian production facility in Serbia. “It is a great honor for us to open the only production outside of Austria here in Serbia. For 117 years, Austria has been the sole location for our production, and it’s an enormous honor for me personally, as well as for the whole team, that the family has chosen Serbia. This provides us all with added security and a brighter outlook for the future,” he said during the cornerstone-laying ceremony, as reported by eKapija.

Construction of the facility is set to begin in February, with work expected to be completed by October. The factory is scheduled to start production in November. When asked whether the plant will exclusively serve the Serbian market, Jagodič emphasized that Serbia is just the starting point for Neuroth’s regional expansion.
