New factory for water pump manufacturing opened in Serbia

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has opened a new factory of the leading water pump manufacturer Grundfos, in the industrial zone of Indjija near Belgrade. The decision of Grundfos to build a factory in Serbia proves that we have become a destination attractive for investors, emphasized Nikolic. He stated that after changes occurred a year ago, strategic goals of the country were redefined, adding that utmost efforts are invested to create a stable and predictable macroeconomic environment. The Grundfos investment worth 50 million euros is one of the biggest investments in production in Serbia, as well as the region. The Grundfos management expects to increase the number of employees from 149 to 350 by the end of 2014.
