The planned section spans a length of 14.44 kilometers and will pass through three city municipalities: Čukarica, Obrenovac and Surčin. The route covers areas such as Ostružnica, Umka, and the cadastral municipalities of Mala Moštanica, Barič, Mislođin, and Boljevci. The total scope of the Spatial Plan is 6.86 hectares.

The Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure is the holder of the plan, with the Institute for Roads responsible for the preliminary design of the high-speed road. The expert processing of the plan is handled by the Institute for Architecture and Urban Planning of Serbia. According to the plan, the route will begin at the existing Ostružnica interchange on the southern bypass of Belgrade (part of Corridor X) and will continue along the current road with a planned extension on the right side. It will intersect with the old Obrenovački road, followed by an extension along the right bank of the Sava River, passing through the settlement of Umka, where significant works on river regulation are planned.

Near the village of Barič, the route will diverge from the riverbank and proceed through the industrial zone, reaching the uneven intersection and the Obrenovac interchange on the state road IA line E-763.

The road will consist of two physically separated lanes, each with at least two traffic lanes, 3.5 meters wide. The road will be designed for a maximum speed of 100 km/h. The plan includes the construction of eight bridges and three interchanges along the route.

Additionally, nine uneven crossings are planned, including three overpasses and six underpasses, to ensure smooth traffic flow throughout the entire route.

The planned interchanges include:

  • Polupetlja Pećani at km 4+950, which will connect the new road with the local traffic network, including the settlements of Pećani, Velika Moštanica, Sremčica, the old Obrenovački road, and state road IIb order number 343.
  • Petlja Umka at km 6+450, connecting the new road with state road IB order number 26 and road IIb order number 343.
  • Interchange Barič at km 13+500, linking with state road IA line E-763 (via the existing “Obrenovac” interchange), road IB line number 26, and the Barič industrial zone.
