The company “Aerodromi Srbije” announced that from the upcoming winter season, starting January 2026, passengers will be able to fly again from Niš airport “Konstantin Veliki” to Dortmund. The airline “Wizz Air” plans to operate two flights per week, on Mondays and Fridays, with the first flight scheduled for January 5, 2026.
Passengers will also benefit from flying out of the new terminal building at Niš airport.
In June, Niš airport recorded a 16% increase in passenger numbers compared to the same period last year, marking the most successful month since the start of 2025. Alongside passenger traffic growth, cargo transport at Niš airport also increased by 36% in the first half of this year compared to last year, with new cargo routes expected to be established soon.
