NIS management outlines operational plan amid U.S. sanctions

The Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) announced that its management presented a report on operational activities and a work plan under the current U.S. sanctions during a Board of Directors meeting.

According to a statement on the company’s website, the management outlined measures to ensure the company’s continued operations, maintain employees’ social security, and secure market supply until the sanctions situation is resolved by the relevant authorities and shareholders.

The NIS Board meeting on Friday, October 10, was described as constructive, with the company also identifying the challenges it faces under the new circumstances.
