Dušan Bajatović, General Director of Srbijagas and a member of parliament from the Socialist Party of Serbia, stated that there is no gas crisis in Serbia and that there will be enough gas for all consumers.
“There will be no Serbia without gas. We already know that, and we know how—but I cannot speak about it publicly. There will also be no shortage of electricity. There will be no ‘gas canisters,’” Bajatović said in the Serbian Parliament. He also mentioned that the issue concerning NIS (Naftna Industrija Srbije) is currently being resolved.
“I am not authorized to disclose details, but since I am often invited to comment in the media, let me be clear—there is no gas crisis, nor will there be one. There will be enough gas for households, and the price will remain unchanged. There will also be sufficient supply for industry. Those who plan to invest in Serbia should have no doubts about that,” Bajatović emphasized.
He reiterated that Serbia will not face any crisis—whether related to gas, oil, or electricity.
“I’m sorry I cannot share more details, and I hope you’ll understand that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll try to return from Hungary as soon as possible,” Bajatović added during the parliamentary debate on amendments to the Law on the Unified Voter Register.
