The U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has not granted permission for the continuation of operations of Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS), Blic has learned unofficially.

The Government of Serbia will hold a session on Sunday at the Palace of Serbia, with all directors of state-owned companies invited. The session is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., the government announced.

Prime Minister Đuro Macut previously scheduled a government meeting for tomorrow, which will also be attended by President Aleksandar Vučić, with the main topic being the situation surrounding the Serbian oil company NIS.
