The largest regional conference focused on renewable energy, OIE Serbia 2025, will take place on September 17-18, 2025, in Vrdnik, as announced by the Association of Renewable Energy Sources Serbia, which traditionally organizes the event.

According to the announcement, the conference will bring together business leaders, representatives from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the World Bank, state institutions, and key investors. They will discuss the latest developments in green energy at the Vrdnička Kula complex on Fruška Gora.

Due to the high level of public interest and the participation of a broad spectrum of stakeholders, the conference will be held over two days. Topics for OIE Serbia 2025 will include the operation of wind farms that received market premiums in the first round of auctions, as well as updates from the second round of auctions, for which the application deadline is approaching. The conference will also continue discussions on education as a critical element of the energy transition, as well as e-mobility and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) standards, which were key topics in last year’s impactful panels.

In addition to traditional panel discussions on the development of wind and solar power plants, the conference will address topics such as electricity storage and other current issues in the renewable energy sector.

The previous edition of the conference attracted over 500 participants, with 45 international speakers engaging in discussions through eight panel sessions, answering vital questions and raising new topics in the field.
