Prime Minister Ana Brnabic announced good news today.
As she said, she expects to have a contract signed with a significant IT company in the next few weeks.
Although she did not state the name of the company, she said that the company would start a business here, and that, she reminds, will be the result, among other things, of her recent visit to New York.
Speaking on Television Prva, Brnabic stated that the future is reflected in biomedicine and biotechnology.
“That is why it is important for us to complete what we have invested 5 million euros in by the end of the year, and that is the Genome Sequencing Center,” she said.
She pointed out that she had an “excellent meeting” with Giuseppe Cipriani, a representative of the fourth generation of the famous Italian family of caterers and hoteliers.
“I hope that in the next few months we will be able to say that we will have that restaurant, but also a hotel – these are hotels that are among the most luxurious in the world. It is a great thing not only for Belgrade, but also for Serbia, a great thing for our tourism,” she estimates.
She also said that the minimum wage in Serbia will be like the average wage eight or nine years ago.
“Look at how much of a shift that is,” she said.
She also says that she is explicitly against the measures of imprisonment and adds that we must learn to live with the virus, B92 reports.
