Construction on the Pakovraće–Požega section of the highway is entering its final phase, with the official opening scheduled for June 28. This approximately 19.5-kilometer stretch runs through the challenging mountainous terrain of western Serbia and is one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the country over the past decade.

Previously, the 11.5-kilometer section of the “Miloš Veliki” highway from Preljina near Čačak to Pakovraće was opened in January 2022, effectively eliminating traffic congestion in Čačak, especially during summer holidays and weekends.

This section is part of the E-763 “Miloš Veliki” highway, which connects Belgrade to the southern and western regions of Serbia and, more broadly, to the Adriatic coast.
