Post offices of Slovenia and Serbia are developing cooperation in the field of digitalization

The leaders of the post offices of Serbia and Slovenia, Zoran Djordjevic and Tomaz Kokot, talked today in Maribor about cooperation in the field of digitalization and e-government.
The topic of conversation was also the provision of consulting support to the Post of Slovenia in the process of adjusting the operations of the Post of Serbia to the standards of the European Union.
The center of future cooperation between the post offices of Serbia and Slovenia will be the digitalization of postal services, which is one of the segments of Serbia’s accession process to the European Union and a priority of the Government of Serbia.
Cooperation on the development of internet trade was also discussed, and the hosts presented their innovative e-commerce service of the network platform, which is already being used with great success by post offices in the region, it is stated in the announcement of the Post of Serbia.
“This is a very useful visit for us, and examples of good practice and cooperation with the Post of Slovenia will help us develop new and technologically innovative solutions for e-commerce, which the Post of Serbia seeks to strengthen, as well as continue to develop new and quality digital services for the needs of the citizens and the economy of Serbia,” said the acting director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Djordjevic, Danas reports.
