Serbia’s President, Aleksandar Vučić, shared that he had a conversation with Odile Renaud-Basso, the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Vučić highlighted Serbia’s ambitious target for a 4.2 percent growth rate this year.
“I informed my esteemed counterpart about Serbia’s bold plans for accelerated development across various sectors, particularly in relation to the upcoming EXPO 2027. I reiterated my belief that EBRD, as a leading institutional investor in our country, will play a key role in realizing this vision,” Vučić wrote on Instagram.
He emphasized that citizens rightly expect bold actions from their leaders and noted that international forums, such as the World Economic Forum in Davos, offer a valuable platform for dialogue and collaboration among global political, economic and financial leaders.
