The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, visited the construction site of the E-763 “Miloš Veliki” highway, specifically the Preljina – Požega section. He expressed pride in the project, noting that it resembled roads in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. Vučić emphasized the significance of the highway in improving safety and speeding up travel, which will also connect western Serbia to Belgrade and central Serbia.

He also touched on economic matters, stating that while salary increases might be slightly smaller than previously planned—8% instead of 10%—and pension increases reduced from 5% to 4%, these changes are still significant in the current economic climate.

Vučić further mentioned his discussions with Donald Trump Jr., where they covered a range of topics, from media pressure to the functioning of the U.S. administration. The president also highlighted the ongoing diplomatic efforts, especially in dealing with sanctions and strengthening Serbia’s relationship with American partners. He noted that an agreement between China and the U.S. might be reached soon, which could further benefit Serbia’s international standing.
