Prime Minister: 2025 GDP growth will bring higher salaries and pensions

Serbia’s Prime Minister, Miloš Vučević, chaired a session of the Council for Coordination of Activities and Measures for GDP Growth, convened at the request of President Aleksandar Vučić, Tanjug reports.

Vučević addressed ministers, public company directors, mayors, and public officials, urging them to dedicate themselves to their work in 2025, highlighting the challenges ahead that must be overcome. He noted that the GDP in 2025 is expected to return to pre-pandemic levels, which will result in higher salaries and pensions.

He emphasized the need for greater discipline and commitment, stressing that economic growth of 3.8 percent is projected for the coming year. Vučević called for collective effort to address the challenges ahead and ensure Serbia’s continued progress.
