Problem with flour exports to Macedonia is solved

President of the Macedonian Chamber of Commerce Branko Azeski said Wednesday that the problem with Serbian flour exports to Macedonia has been solved.

Azeski told Tanjug that the problem stemmed from a technical error on the side of the Macedonian Ministry of Agriculture, which was interpreted in Serbia as embargo.

He added that the problem was solved owing to the good cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and between the two countries’ competent ministries.

Azeski’s explanation comes in reply to a statement issued by Serbian flour producers on October 14, who pointed out that Macedonia has been obstructing flour exports from Serbia since July and called on the authorities to immediately introduce reciprocal measures affecting the imports of agricultural and food products from Macedonia.
