Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development, Mladjan Dinkic has signed agreements worth a total of €2.7 million in Sremska Mitrovica with Austrian company Iso-Tech and German firm MC-Bauchemie for these companies to build and expand their production units. MC-Bauchemie will build a factory to produce chemical substances and additives for the construction industry whose value is about €1.5 million and which will employ 40 people. Iso-Tech plans to build a new, €1.2 million insulation materials factory which will employ 50 people. The government of Serbia has agreed to set aside €3,000 for each new job created by this project. The new unit should be finished in November, 2010, with production likely to be launched in early 2011.
