Rimaster as the largest investment in Paracin

The Swedish company for the production of cable kits for heavy construction machinery “Rimaster” is coming to Paracin, and this is the biggest breakthrough success of this city in the last decade.
The lease agreement for the facility in the Industrial zone, which announced the arrival and confirmation, was “certified” on December 16, 2018 by Mayor Sasa Paunovic and Rimaster Director Thomas Stalnert. According to the business plan, Rimaster will employ up to 1,000 people after moving to the Industrial Park.
– If the plans of Rimaster come true, and I believe it will, this company will become the largest employer in Paracin and one of the largest in Pomoravlje. According to the data of the Republic Bureau of Statistics, Paracin has already been measured as the number of employees in relation to the total population, at the level of pre-transition employment – before all major privatizations. The realization of the Rimaster plans will mean that we are taking a step forward and crossing the border that has long hindered us. More employees at Rimaster, as well as in other companies investing, will mean a better life not only for those who will find a job, but also for all others who provide different services – said Paunovic after the formal act of signing the contract, reports local Municipality newspaper.
The company, in fact, already works in a rented facility and employs a hundred workers. As Thomas Stalnert says, signing a contract is a “good day” for the company:
– We planned to hire sixty first, but we already have a hundred workers and I look forward to better working conditions in a much better facility. We will have a great base for business, and our plan is to stay in Serbia for a long time and offer good conditions to our customers in Europe. Rimaster was looking for a country that would be ideal for their business and decided on Serbia and then Paracin. Our experience is that it is best to find a smaller city to invest in, where we will build a so-called family spirit and build such relationships within the factory.
It is especially important for Rimaster to have a good reception in Paracin, including ensuring all the necessary conditions for successful work and cooperation.
Rimaster has leased a 3,000-square-foot office space. The hall will be completed by the end of March, ie before the deadline set in the lease agreement, which is mid-May.
Then Rimaster should take over the facility and move production.
The construction of the facility leased by Rimaster in the industrial zone is funded by the Municipality with more than 2 million euros, and the works have been entrusted to company “Grading”, writes Danas.
