The Russian state nuclear energy agency Rosatom is prepared to provide Serbia with a full range of nuclear power solutions, including small modular reactors based on RITM-200 technology and generation 3+ high-capacity power units, according to Marija Deurić, director of Rosatom’s representative office in Serbia, as reported by Interfax.
Deurić emphasized that Rosatom’s technologies have already demonstrated reliability and efficiency in Russia and abroad.
Following Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić’s recent visit to Russia, Rosatom CEO Aleksey Likhachev described the cooperation as entering a “new phase,” with nuclear energy now officially part of the Russian-Serbian bilateral agenda.
