The Agreement on Air Traffic between Serbia and Saudi Arabia was signed today, paving the way for the establishment of a direct airline connection and laying the foundation for stronger economic cooperation. The agreement was signed by Serbia’s Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Aleksandra Sofronijević, and Al bin Mohammed Rajab, representative of the General Civil Aviation Authority of Saudi Arabia.
Minister Sofronijević stated that the agreement will further strengthen Belgrade’s position as a key regional transport hub and provide a boost to the development of bilateral relations, particularly in infrastructure, agriculture, energy, and mining sectors.
