Serbia and Venezuela have traditionally good and friendly relations

The President of the Assembly of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, stated today that Serbia and Venezuela have traditionally good and friendly relations and expressed readiness to contribute to the intensification of overall bilateral cooperation through the strengthening of parliamentary ties.
Today, Dačić received the Ambassador of Venezuela, Dimas Jesus Alvarenga Gera, with whom he discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the parliaments of Serbia and Venezuela through the work of parliamentary friendship groups, as well as through parliamentary visits, the Serbian Parliament announced.
Ambassador Gera said that Venezuela sees Serbia as a friendly country and that Venezuela is grateful for the solidarity that Serbia has always had for its people.
He expressed readiness to strengthen relations between the two countries through specific types of cooperation, the statement said, Danas reports.
