Serbia’s Finance Minister Siniša Mali announced that the country’s minimum wage will increase by 9.4 percent from tomorrow, rising from 457 euros to 500 euros. Speaking on RTS, he also noted that the government, in agreement with trade unions and employers, has planned another regular increase of 10.1 percent starting January 1, 2026.

“This means the minimum wage will reach 551 euros on January 1. Cumulatively, this represents a 37 percent increase, which has never happened before in a single year,” Mali stated.

He emphasized that the minimum wage increase is being implemented in line with fiscal rules to avoid compromising macroeconomic stability.
