The Serbian Government has approved a decision that establishes the public interest for the expropriation of real estate to facilitate the first phase of Belgrade’s second metro line. This decision covers the expropriation of land and properties in the cadastral municipalities of Novi Beograd and Zemun.
The project is aligned with the General Regulation Plan for Rail Systems in Belgrade, which includes a detailed route plan for the second metro line.
The City of Belgrade has been designated as the beneficiary of the expropriation process.
