Last week, the Belex15 index, representing the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, experienced a modest uptick of 0.2 percent, reaching 995.4 points, as reported by Momentum Securities brokerage today.
The total trading volume reached 617.6 million dinars, approximately 5.4 million euros, primarily driven by transactions involving government bonds.
Among the top performers were shares of the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS), witnessing a 0.5 percent increase to 849 dinars per share. NIS stocks recorded a turnover value of 47.3 million dinars. Shareholders are anticipating the distribution of last year’s profits on June 14, with an expected distribution of 64.26 dinars per share. Notably, NIS shares traded at similar levels last June, despite a dividend that was more than double. Meanwhile, Dunav Insurance shares saw a continuous rise, reaching 979 dinars, with a turnover of 5.3 million dinars. The company anticipates distributing dividends of 51.64 dinars per share soon.
“Nikola Tesla” Airport shares remained steady at 1,900 dinars, with a turnover of 2.3 million dinars. Conversely, Jedinstva shares from Sevojno experienced a notable surge of 12.7 percent, reaching 7,438 dinars. Their recovery came shortly after being among the losers the previous week, attributed to an announced dividend increase, albeit with minimal trading activity.
On the downside, Impol Seval saw a 5.4 percent decrease in share price, dropping to 7,000 dinars, while Metalac shares declined by 3.6 percent to 1,713 dinars post the dividend cut-off.
