Tamarack Aerospace announced two days ago that it has signed a new authorized representation agreement with Serbian company Prince Aviation.
This agreement continues the long-standing collaboration between the two companies in the area of structural modifications for business aircraft. Specifically, it focuses on the engineering and technical capabilities of Prince Aviation’s MRO sector to install winglets on Cessna Citation series business jets.
These modifications utilize an intellectual property solution from Tamarack branded as “Active Winglets.” According to Tamarack Aerospace, installing these aerodynamic surfaces at the wing tips increases operational range and reduces average fuel consumption. As a result of improved aerodynamics, operators of CJ jets can potentially increase cargo capacity by around 200 pounds (400 lbs), while also benefiting from enhanced climbing performance in challenging atmospheric conditions.
Prince Aviation has been collaborating with Tamarack since 2018, and with this new agreement, Prince will be able to offer its clients more comprehensive support and direct access to Tamarack’s solutions, as stated by Đorđe Petrović, the commercial director of Prince Aviation.
