The average gross salary calculated for September 2024 amounted to 132,783 dinars, while the average net salary, after taxes and contributions, stood at 96,115 dinars, as reported today by the Republic Institute for Statistics. The growth in both gross and net salaries from January to September 2024, compared to the same period last year, was 14.5% nominally and 9.3% in real terms, according to Tanjug.
When compared to the same month last year, the average gross and net salaries for September 2024 were nominally 13.0% higher, and in real terms, they increased by 8.4%.
The median net salary for September 2024 was 75,117 dinars, meaning that 50% of employees earned up to this amount.
