The Agency for Business Registers (APR) has released the 2023 Annual Bulletin of Financial Reports today, featuring official summary data detailing the activities of legal entities and entrepreneurs.

Alongside comprehensive data covering the real sector, financial institutions, and the non-profit sector, the publication includes an analysis presenting key insights into the operational success of legal entities and entrepreneurs throughout 2023. This analysis marks the first comprehensive overview of business activities during the past year.

Despite operating under heightened risks, the economy maintained profitability for the ninth consecutive year, achieving a positive net result of 972.446 million dinars, marking a 12.3% increase compared to the previous year. The companies collectively employed a workforce totaling 1,307,587 individuals.

The annual bulletin of financial reports was compiled using preliminary aggregated data derived from regular annual financial reports and statistical submissions from 162,718 legal entities and 117,115 entrepreneurs. These data sets were meticulously entered into the statistical database in accordance with regulatory requirements.
