Average net salary in Serbia for June 2024 reaches 95,804 dinars, with notable sectoral income differences

In June, the average net salary in Serbia was 95,804 dinars. According to the Republic Institute of Statistics, salaries varied significantly by sector. Employees in the wood processing industry, excluding furniture, earned the lowest average at 55,967 dinars, while developers had the highest average income at 282,562 dinars.

Salaries exceeding the national average were noted in several sectors: mining at 120,139 dinars, electricity and gas supply at 111,820 dinars, scientific and technical activities at 120,946 dinars, and financial and insurance activities at 143,705 dinars. In the manufacturing industry, the average salary was 85,829 dinars, with significant variation. Wood processors and clothing manufacturers had lower wages, at 58,859 dinars and 55,967 dinars respectively, whereas tobacco product manufacturers earned an average of 214,310 dinars, pharmaceutical producers 130,885 dinars, and producers of coke and petroleum derivatives 130,466 dinars.

In agriculture, the average salary was 77,671 dinars, in construction 80,003 dinars, trade 79,681 dinars, and transportation 82,852 dinars.
