Serbia’s GDP grows by 4.2% in Q2 2024, exceeding annual projections

Serbia’s real GDP grew by 4.2% in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, as announced by the Republic Statistical Office.

This follows a 4.7% growth in the first quarter. The Serbian government had projected an annual growth of 3.5% for 2024. A more detailed breakdown of the quarterly GDP for Q2 2024 will be released on September 2.
