Elektromreza Srbije (EMS) has announced the commencement of a new application period for electricity producers seeking connection to the grid from various energy sources.
According to EMS, the next phase for preparing connection studies begins on September 1st and continues until December 31st of this year, in line with the Regulation on electricity delivery and supply conditions. The deadline for submitting complete documentation for this period is August 1st.
Applicants must include relevant attachments depending on the type of facility being connected, such as conventional power plants, reversible hydroelectric power plants, energy park modules (wind and solar power plants), electricity storage facilities, production facilities linked to internal customer installations, distribution system facilities, and final customer facilities.
Due to high client interest and frequent queries, EMS has provided guidance on submitting requests for contracts to prepare connection studies. This includes detailed instructions available on their website, covering form completion guidelines, frequently asked questions from the previous period, and comprehensive information about the connection process.
The previous application interval commenced on December 20, 2023, and concluded on April 20.
