Following discussions between Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Russian President Vladimir Putin on October 20, Serbia will gain access to additional natural gas supplies from Russia starting November 3. In addition to the existing supply contract that provides 6.3 million cubic meters per day at a price of €299 per thousand cubic meters, Serbia will now have an extra 5 million cubic meters available at prices below current European market rates.

The cost for these additional supplies will be €377 per thousand cubic meters, while the market price as of November 2 stands at €410 per thousand cubic meters.

This year, JP Srbijagas has been granted special flexibility in gas withdrawal, allowing adjustments based on Serbia’s immediate needs.
